Step through the looking glass with Mon Bijou Bride. Our latest photoshoot was a magical surreal world of Alice in Wonderland. As a team of amazing vendors, each member brought their own character to life - blending fantasy, bridal fashion and just the right touch of magic. This shoot was a celebration of creativity, collaboration and the charm of doing things differently. Tea was spilled, the cards were dealt and a very good time was had by all.

The Story Behind It All
A Fairytale Wedding at Cranberry Creek Gardens Once Upon a Garden
Alice hadn’t planned to return to Wonderland. But one quiet morning, her heart pulled her in a completely different direction, toward the winding paths of Cranberry Creek Gardens.
At the edge of the chapel, the White Rabbit waited for Alice in his blue Ancaster Moores suit, his silver pocket watch ticking gently.
“You’re just in time,” they said with a smile. “Everything’s about to begin.

A Love That Grew Like Roses
Alice found him beneath the willow tree, the Prince of Spades, the Queen of Hearts’ own son. He wasn’t boastful or polished. Just quietly certain.
The moment he laid eyes on Alice, he was mesmerized. He fell head over heels for her gentle spirit, her softness, and the way she carried wonder like a light that never dimmed.

Their connection wasn’t sudden, it was steady. They met again. And again. Until they weren’t strangers at all, but something softer. Something almost certain.
Even the Queen of Hearts noticed the change. At first, Alice’s bold curiosity worried her. But then she saw how deeply her son loved her and how love softened the palace... and even her own heart.
One morning in her rose garden, the Queen brushed over a single red bloom with white paint. When it dried, it wasn’t red at all, it was blush pink.“Every one,” she told her gardeners. “Let them begin again.”
And so they did. Wonderland’s roses turned pink.

A Chapel Ceremony, A Garden Dream
With the Queen’s blessing, the wedding was held at the chapel. Pastel florals by Forest of Flowers Brantford flowed through the day, decorating the aisle, the archway, and the garden with enchantment.

Alice carried a pastel bridal bouquet that was soft, romantic, and whimsical.

She wore an ivory Mikado gown from Mon Bijou Bride, her hair was tied into a bow by Mila
Chic, and glowing makeup by Lindsay Scarfone.

Her hand-painted heels from Juls Bridal Shoes featured pink roses and a tiny white rabbit near

The Prince wore a classic black tuxedo from Ancaster Moores, his love for her clear in every glance.

Under the floral arch, the Queen officiated with grace and pride. A new kind of tradition was blooming and a royal love story was sealed with a kiss.

The Wish Beneath the Tree
After dinner, served by Devlin’s Country Bistro on vintage tableware from Teas and Toast guests shared stories, toasted with laughter, and signed the velvet guest book from Dekora

Albums, which sat at the head of the garden table, ready to capture memories and well wishes for generations to come.

The cake by Cake & Crumb stood tall, simple and elegant, like something grown from love itself.

And then, as the stars began to glow, the White Rabbit slipped quietly toward the old wishing tree. He looked up at the key that hung from its satin ribbon and whispered:“I wish to meet the one meant for me.”
Just then, a beautiful figure stepped into the light, a Bride Rabbit in a floral petal gown, a wildflower basket bouquet in her arms. She looked at him like she already knew the story.
“A new rabbit hole,” he whispered. And somewhere behind them, a pink rose bloomed a little brighter.

Ever After
Alice and the Prince of Spades now rule with kindness and curiosity, two hearts wildly in love, choosing each other every day.
And if you listen closely, the roses at Cranberry Creek Gardens still whisper stories. The key still swings in the tree.
And if you’re searching for true love... the door is waiting.
All you need is the key.
